This page explains which cookies and similar technologies the Opaline Beauty Studio website uses, and how you decide what to allow.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, work in a comparable way. They can, for example, remember a choice you have made or measure how a website is used.
Necessary: your cookie choice
When you make a choice in our cookie banner, we store it in your browser’s local storage under the name “opaline-consent”. Technically this is not a cookie, but it works in a similar way. It means we do not have to ask you again on every visit. This storage is needed to respect your choice and is not shared with us or anyone else.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve it. This only happens if you consent to analytics cookies. Without consent, Google Consent Mode is set to “denied” by default and no analytics cookies are placed.

Third-party content
- OpenStreetMap: the map on our contact page is only loaded after you click “Load map”. Your browser then connects to OpenStreetMap, which receives information such as your IP address.
- WhatsApp: if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) opens. WhatsApp’s own privacy and cookie policy then applies.
- Online booking: our booking tool [BOOKING TOOL NAME] has its own cookie and privacy policy.
Our fonts are hosted on our own server; no data is sent to Google Fonts.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page.
Deleting cookies
You can also delete cookies and local storage yourself in your browser settings. Check your browser’s help pages (for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) to see how. After deleting them, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit.
